The 2014 World Championship will take place at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds between the 17th and 29th October.

There will be a one day Qualifying Competition on Friday 17th followed by the Jim Williamson Memorial on Saturday & Sunday 18th & 19th and the two main World Championship events (150up and Timed) for the remaining 10 days. Another Billiardsfest !

Accommodation

As again, the nominated partner hotel for all players and officials is the Holiday Inn Express, situated right next door to the venue. We have negotiated a special rate of £58 per room (double or twin), including breakfast, WiFi and parking for one car.
We stress that is is mandatory that all players and officials who are staying use this hotel.
We discussed with the hotel management that our requirement is for twin-bedded rooms. They have kindly agreed to take ALL such rooms off the market until we inform them that our players and officials are now ready to book. So, in August we will give you prior notice that this batch of rooms is coming available and then they will put these rooms back ‘on the market’.
The date will be Sun 17-Aug-2014, so put that in your calendar !  On that day, the hotel will remove the blocks on the rooms and I will publish online links and  so that you can take advantage of this offer and reserve a twin-bedded room.
